RSC JUNIOR LIFEGUARD Camp
The RSC Junior Lifeguard Class is designed to introduce basic water and pool safety to kids 9 -14 years of age who are strong swimmers. Participants will learn different rescue skills and techniques used by lifeguards including basic first aid, pool safety & rules, weather safety, survival skills and basic pool maintenance. All participants will be given a whistle and a junior lifeguard shirt. They will also be allowed to schedule themselves to guard the pool alongside a regularly scheduled RSC staff member on designated RSC Junior Lifeguard Days!
PROGRAM COST: $50.00 PER PARTICIPANT
2019 program will be offered stay tuned for details!
Requirements for all participants:
100 yard continuous swim freestyle with stroke proficiency. Retrieve object at 7’ depth. Must have an RSC badge.
WHAT TO BRING: PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED THEIR SWIM SUITS, SHIRTS, SUNSCREEN A TOWEL, GOGGLES, CAPS AND THEIR ISSUED WHISTLE.
Please note this program is an 8 day class. A day or two at the most can be missed for other activities.
